Running for me is an exercise, a discipline and a metaphor. It builds patience and character in a way that it push you to goals.
In 1 Cor 9:4 it says to run the to get the prize. What then is the price of running for me? Physically, it's for good health and maintaining a good weight. Spiritually, to obtain the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. It is to continue to finish line regardless how tired you are, how tempted to stop at mid-goal, to stop at frustration
At wit's end, I am greatly drawn to this passage:
1 Samuel 30:
6 David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the Lord his God.
